Parr Management is run by Fabienne Parr a Melbourne-based actor, mum of three and Performing Arts teacher with more than 20 years’ experience in the industry.

Having worked in the industry and being a parent herself, Fabienne knows both the expectations of the industry and the position of the parents’ of child performers and artists. Fabienne is passionate about mentoring the kids and parents coming into the industry.  The training and the individual growth and development is just as important as gaining work in the industry.

Would I be employed by PARR Management?

We are not your employer and at no time do we withhold tax. The end user/client is deemed your employer or contractor for each job. Each job will require the child to fill in a Tax Dec form..

We act as your agent and represent you in the industry.. It is the parent's responsibility for declaring your child's earnings each year.

A free profile will be on Parr Management for casting agents and all talent is to be registered on Casting Networks and SHOWCAST (fees required).

We take a commission from your earnings. We are not your employer, we act as your agent sending you for castings, organising contracts and child work permits.

HOW MUCH WILL MY CHILD EARN?

Each job will be negotiated with the client separately. Children can earn anywhere from one hundred to thousands of dollars.

WHAT AGES DO YOU REPRESENT?

We welcome applications form all ages

CAN MY CHILD BE A MEMBER/REPRESENTED BY MORE THAN ONE AGENCY?

A child can only be represented by one agency. Parr Management recommends that your child remain with us for at least 12 months to ensure your child has the best chance at success whilst also providing us with enough time to promote your child and find opportunities best suited to their talent.

IF I AM ACCEPTED DO YOU GUARANTEE WORK?

Like any business, developing relationships within the industry takes time and there are many variables to booking an audition or a job. Selection can come down to something as small and individual as height/hair colour etc, so instant work may not be ensured. What you can be guaranteed is that Parr Management will always have your child’s best interest at heart. And provided you keep us up-to-date with your child’s skills and attributes, we will always be submitting your child for suitable briefs when opportunities arise.

DO YOU ACCEPT EVERYONE WHO APPLIES to Parr Management?

As we like to have personal relationships with each of our clients. We only take on representation of those children who we feel have a good chance of obtaining work in the industry.

Having many strings to your bow does help with the selection criteria. So please be sure to let us know what skills and talents your child has. If not selected first time round please be sure to contact us again if you feel your child as obtained new skills or developments as we are always happy to hear from you again.
